The food we got from Nonnas pizza is terrible. The fries taste like they are hours old and the buns is hard. Thank God neither of us have false teeth it we'd be screwed. My sandwich was to have everything but hot peppers. I only got onion. Won't eat here again or recommend this place. $19 wasted.
I ordered Nonna's pizza over the phone and the woman taking my order hang up on me just as I was asking about the order total. I got my pizza in a reasonable time of 40 minutes. My first reaction when I opened the box was, "Where is the cheese?" For a pizza that inherits the pizzeria's name and that is advertised as being "layered with mozzarella cheese and tomato sauce", it came out really disappointing. After careful inspection there was actually a paper thin layer of cheese and some kind of Kraft parmesan in a bottle sort of cheese sprinkled on top. Additionally, for a pizza that is lacking in the cheese department, it came out very greasy. And lastly, even though the pizza was thin, the crust had no crunch or crisp to it. I just realized that they might have given me some leftover pizza heated in a microwave. I will give this place another shot and write a new review. Hoping it'll be good.
Really good pizza with a nice variety of specialty pies. Would give them 5 stars but during busy hours their phones don't work so you can't call in an order. It's incredibly frustrating. How can you run a business this way?
My son attends FDU, so we all went out for a family dinner , from the service, the appetizers and the main course dinners this is the place I highly recommend ! Great atmosphere !
Good Italian restaurant which is BYOB with a takeout counter as well as a dine in restaurant. The food was tasty and they had several unique options which I hadn't had before.
I would gladly come back to sample more of their delicious menu.
